Sammy Davis Jr has found his forever home. He is going to live with two other tuxedo cats in the life of luxury. He is clearly having a good time in his new home.
Thanks to everyone for sending out his info on Facebook and via email. He was adopted by an Arapaho Road Animal Hospital client who happened to come in while Sammy was hanging out at the front desk. After holding him for a little while, she could not deny his sweet adorable kittiness.
And thanks to Dr May who donated all her services . When Sammy is old enough, Dr May will perform a cosmetic eye surgery to make him even cuter! I’m not sure if that is even possible.
When we found Sammy, he was living under a few different houses. We did check around to try to find his owners, but in the OC, random cats are very common and the consensus was that he was fending for himself. The night he started following my neighbor, he must have recognized a sucker when he saw one – and so his journey to his new life began. Thank you everyone for seeing the value in a little one-eyed kitten, he is now going to have a great life.
