I know that you are probably a little sleep deprived, hungover, and full of brisket, hot dogs and potato salad after the 4th of July celebrations, but pace yourself – there are two more days left to enjoy the holiday weekend. Firework stands are open all weekend.
During these last two days between the baseballs games, slip and slides, and beer, don’t forget to keep Fido safe and away from fireworks, sunscreen, mosquito spray, and certain people foods. Foods like onions, tomatoes, grapes, garlic, alcohol, raw potatoes, chocolate, and others can be extremely harmful, even fatal, to dogs.
Make your pets wear their collars! You don’t want your pet running away without ID on this national holiday of lost dogs!
Here’s a list of tips to keep your dog safe this weekend
At our house, we’ll be exercising hard in the morning to make the dogs tired, and then filling up the kongs and having a “distraction party” during the fireworks. So far so good.
Enjoy your weekend and celebrate your freedom – like Pit Bull!
