CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS: All you animal lovers who said you wanted to help with boots on the ground education initiatives for our neighborhoods’ animals – it’s time!
We will begin grass roots outreach in our neighborhoods ahead of the Oak Cliff Blessing of the Animals in October. The Spay and Neuter Network will be training us THIS FRIDAY on how to respectfully approach our neighbors about being good stewards of their companion animals. The Spay and Neuter Network will help us understand how to have productive conversations with our neighborhoods while encouraging a spay and neuter culture and a culture of compliance. Together we will improve our neighborhoods and strengthen our communities through respectful, compassionate, neighbor-to-neighbor conversations and by providing access to needed resources.
During the boots on the ground education efforts, we will let our neighbors know about the blessing of the animals ceremony on October 4th and about free spay and neuter services available that day, as well as free vaccinations and free micro-chipping. Low cost heartworm tests and flea and heartworm preventative will also be available for purchase on event day.
Training is this FRIDAY! We can use EVERYONE! But bi-lingual Spanish speakers are a plus.
Please RSVP for the Friday training class via the Facebook invite or email: doglady@GypsyDogOps.com
