We are happy to announce that Jack has found his forever home. The 76th way has come full circle as Jack has been adopted by a member of the Corgan family.
Getting Jack healthy and adoptable was quite the undertaking. A big thank you to everyone for all your generosity, love, and support – all the little things really added up. A big shout out to Shanna and Marcela for the puppy pads – man oh man a puppy with a kidney infection really needed them! Thanks to Melissa and Carol for hooking Jack up with a little doggie harness, to Rachel for lending him a leash, to Shanna, Marisol, and Marcela for keeping him in toys, to Emma for the awesome dog box – Jack used toys from your excellent Christmas present, to Chris for sending over dogs beds, to Randy, Derwin and Xavier for willing us Winslow’s bounty – the various little dog things came in handy, to Anita for the awesome dog food coupons, to Kaley and the marketing department for Jack’s amazing flyer, to the MediaLab for Jack’s announcement video, to all the ladies that loved him (and Nich), and to Dr May and the Arapaho Road Animal Clinic for the discounted services and awesome heartworm preventative samples.
The last big thank yous go to three special people. First, Bob Morris who gave us the blessing to take Jack into the building to help him. Bob also acted as Jack’s Fairy Godfather as he and Corgan sponsored Jack’s vet bill. Sweet, caring Anita who stopped and picked Jack up out the road and saved him from certain dehydration and death. What an angel! Our last thank you goes to Jack’s forever family – you are a big part of why we do what we do. Thank you for giving Jack a place where he is treated as a valued and loved member of your family.
If you were thinking about adopting Jack, please consider adopting from the SPCA, DAS, or a local rescue group. Angel the puppy is also still looking for her forever home. If you want help finding the perfect dog, here at GDO we’re pretty good match makers – just let us know what you’re looking for.
Also please keep in mind that many of the donated items listed were gently used, but still so very helpful. If Jack’s story touched your heart, please consider donating your gently used items to the SPCA or the rescue of your choice – dogs do not care if toys and beds are gently used – sometimes they like that even better! (My dog loves her toys more if she can steal them from her doggie siblings)
Thank you all again and hurray for the 76th way!
